Communication

At TPPS we strive for timely, clear, and informative communication with our community.

We encourage whānau to come in and see us. We have a kanohi ke to kanohi kaupapa where our doors are open to whānau, and we appreciate the time they have made to come and visit.

Digitally, we use HERO as our Student Management System. When whānau log into their HERO account, they can view up-to-date learning goals for their tamariki and what level they are against the NZ Curriculum.  You can also view newsletters, submit an absence, view the school calendar and term dates as well as view your school finances.

A lot of communication at TPPS is done through HERO, and Facebook. When it is necessary, or relevant, letters may be printed and sent home.

Communication between school and home is part of being a learning partnership to support our Achievers. We want to make this as easy and comfortable as possible.

Our Facebook page is easy to find if you search “Te Puke Primary” and each syndicate also has its own Facebook page:

“Curious Kiwi’s at TPPS”
“TPPS Creative Critters”
“Talented Tui’s at TPPS”
“Senior Syndicate TPPS”
“Ngākau Māhaki 2023”
